Ucash Payment System

With a view to simplify the process of submission of visa application forms, we are rolling out offsite visa application fee collection centers. The salient features of the proposed roll out are as under –

• The facility is mobile payment based upon USSD platform enabled by UCash
• The applicant if in possession of a U Cash account, may directly pay through his/her mobile
• If the applicant does not have a U Cash account, he/she may visit a nearby U Cash payment facilitation centre& make the payment
• There are two(02) modes of application submission – appointment basis & non-appointment basis.
• For those intending to submit the visa application on appointment basis, the payment may be made after the appointment date is scheduled
• For those intending to submit the visa application on non-appointment basis, the payment may be made after taking a printout of the application form
• The validity of the payment would be for five (05) days. The applicant has to ensure that the application is submitted at the chosen IVAC centre within five days of payment
• The applicant has to key in details like Webfile number, passport number & choice of centre with caution & ensure the keyed in details are correct before submitting the request for payment
• The payment would help the applicants to submit the application directly at the counter by bypassing the fee payment at the cash counter in IVACs. Thus the waiting time for the applicants would be reduced considerably

• The payment is currently applicable for Bangladeshi passport holders only
• The pilot project would start at IVAC in Gulshan& slowly would be extended to other centers.

The roll out of payment through mobile wallets is an initiative to expedite the process of submission of visa application forms & is being rolled out on pilot mode from 05/04/2017.
